Xi Omicron Xi and Zeta Rho chapters of Beta Sigma Phi met on Tuesday, October 17th at the Bailey County Electric Meeting Room for their annual Octoberfest dinner. Members enjoyed a meal of Mexican Pile-on followed by desserts of Key lime and lemon-meringue pies.
After dinner and dessert, members were divided into teams to play what developed into a cutthroat, fun game of Scattergories, a game involving words and grouping them by meanings and beginning letters. After four rounds, the game ended in a first-place tie between team Cindy Purdy, Candice Weaver, Char Phillips, Anita Black, and team Pat Angeley, Val McCamish, Donna Glover, Sheila Stevenson. Second place went to team Vicki Black, Pat Young, Tisha Boehning, Brenna Burch, with third place going to team Rickie Warren, Judy Davenport, Sandi Chitwood, and Linda Wood. Alice Liles called out the questions for the game.
