President Anita Black called the meeting to order with a prayer led by Jerie Flowers.
Celebrating October Birthdays are Kim Hunt the 6th and Treena Matthews the 19th.
The October Luncheon was prepared and decorated by Jerie, Janet Claborn, and Helen Templeton. The dining room was decorated with black and orange pumpkins and scarecrows. The ladies were served delicious Lasagna, Garden Salad, Garlic Sticks, and Pumpkin Four-Layered Dessert.
High Plains Director, Treena honored Linda Erdmann for winning the most points for our association this summer.
Jerie, Card Playday Chair, reported that Helen won most pat hands for this year. On September 20th Pat Kirk and Helen tied for High Score. September 27th winner was Anita for the Last Down. Treena won Last Down on October 4th. Total High Score was won by Betty Ott October 11th.
Golf Playday Chair, Tammy Black awarded Ashley Pool for winning Card Golf on September 27th. On October 4th Card Golf was won by Lori Whorton. Kay Field and Linda tied for most Birdies this year.Winning most Chippies for the year was Linda.
Pat drew Deborah Noble’s name as our door prize winner.
Dates to remember are November 27th at 9:00 we will be decorating the Club House for Christmas. November 28th at 9:00 we will also be decorating the Parkview Nursing Home. Our Christmas Party will be December 5th at 5:00.
Members attending were Jerie, Helen, Judy Wilbanks, Sandi Chitwood, Betty, Deborah, Linda, Anita, Pat Chrstie Whitt, Tammy, Kim, Kay, Treena, Jana St. Clair, Janet Claborn, and Marlene Martin.
