Commissioners approve State Audit Reports for 2016-2017

Bailey County Commissioners Court met in regular session in the Bailey County Courthouse on Monday, Oct. 23. Attending were County Judge Sherri Harrison, Precinct 1 Commissioner Gary Don Gartin, Precinct 2 Commissioner Mike Slayden, Precinct 3 Commissioner Cody Black, Precinct 4 Commissioner Juan Chavez and County Clerk Robin Dickerson, ex-officio clerk of Commissioners Court.

Constitutional Amendments election scheduled

Early Voting for the Constitutional Amendments election began Monday, Oct. 23, and ends Friday, Nov. 3.Early voting takes place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Bailey County Courthouse. The last day to request a ballot by mail was Friday, Oct. 27.

Board honors Purdy; views choir trip presentation

Muleshoe Independent School District Board of Trustees honored Cindy Purdy for being elected president to the Texas State Board of Regional Service Centers at the regular meeting on Monday, Oct. 23.

Leadership Muleshoe hopes to draw potential to the surface

The City of Muleshoe through the Economic Development Corporation presents Leadership Muleshoe from 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, Nov. 2, at the City Training Facility, 303 S. Main St.
The free event will feature Jody Holland and Matty McLain.
