Bailey County voting returns were as follows in the Nov. 7 Constitutional Amendments Election to determine amendments to the Constitution of the State of Texas.

The Lady Mules came on strong in the third period Tuesday night in the opening basketball game of the season in Abernathy against the Lady Lopes.

Gartin appointed to Central Appraisal District board

Bailey County Commissioners Court met in regular session in the Bailey County Courthouse on Monday, Nov. 13. Attending were County Judge Sherri Harrison, Precinct 1 Commissioner Gary Don Gartin, Precinct 2 Commissioner Mike Slayden, Precinct 3 Commissioner Cody Black, Precinct 4 Commissioner Juan Chavez and County Clerk Robin Dickerson, ex-officio clerk of Commissioners Court.

Richard “PAT” Barnett

Richard “PAT” Barnett, was born Feb 2, 1932 in San Fernando, California to Charles and Elizabeth Barnett. In 1933 the family moved to Muleshoe Texas. Upon his graduation from Muleshoe High School Pat joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served in the Korean War. After being honorably discharged he became a commercial pilot and a certified flight instructor.

Senior Center News

We are honoring our great friends, Royce and Sandy Turner this month and are so grateful for their support in being faithful to join us for games and a meal almost daily.
Also we have been thankful for his financial support during these past years.
They have a beautiful relationship and we enjoy their company here at the Senior Center.
