The Muleshoe Mules advanced to the 2nd Round of the District Playoffs by defeating the Crane Golden Cranes in the first round.
“We are proud of the Mules’ character at the 1st Round of playoffs in Denver City last Friday,” said Superintendent Dr. R.L. Richards. “The Mules defeated Crane and will now advance.”
Breckenridge was defeated by Merkel, and, therefore, the Mules will be playing Merkel in the second round.
Richards congratulate all students participating in the event.
“The football team, band, cheerleaders, flag team, coaches and fans did a great job to help the Mules rally to defeat Crane.  It was an exciting game that showed the character of our team, coaches and the entire community,” he said.
