Filemon T. Olivarez, age 67, of Lubbock, Texas, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Lubbock. was born March 9, 1950 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Salvador and Guadalupe (Torres) Olivarez. married Josephina Flores in Muleshoe on June 4, 1974.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Anita Barelas; and three brothers, Pablo Olivarez, Lupe Olivarez and Isabell Olivarez.
Filemon is survived by his wife, Josephina; his two sons, Filemon Olivarez Jr. and his wife, Anna of Lubbock, and David Olivarez and his wife, Denise of Olton,; his four brothers, Salvador Olivarez Jr. of Midland, Salvador Olivarez Jr. (half brother) of Houston, Julio Olivarez of Dallas, and Juan Garth of Dimmitt; and five grandchildren, Mariah, Alex, Celest, Isaiah, and Mckenzie.
