The seventh-grade Lady Mules were no match for the Shallowater Fillies Monday evening. Shallowater ran away with the contest, 47-10.

Aaliya Sanchez made a pair of free throws in the opening period for the Lady Mules two points. Shallowater led 9-2 after one quarter.
Shallowater continued with a relentless full-court press for all four quarters. Sanchez hit a short jumper in the second period. Araceli made a steal and drove to the hoop to complete the Lady Mule scoring in the first half. Shallowater led 6-17 at the intermission.
The Lady Mules did not score in the third quarter.
Nautica Mills and Kylie Hernandez both scored baskets in the final two minutes of the game.
Aaliyah Sanchez paced the Lady Mules with four points. Nautica Mills, Araceli Diaz, and Kylie Hernandez scored two points each.
The seventh-grade B team also fell to Shallowater. Evelin Meza and Amri Melton scored two points each in the loss.
The Lady Mules traveled to Roosevelt to play the Lady Eagles Monday to wrap up the 2017 portion of their season. The Lady Mules will travel to Littlefield to battle the Lady Cats after the Christmas break on January 8. The Lady Mules will host the Idalou Lady Cats January 15.
