The Sudan Junior High girls hosted Hale Center last Monday.
“All three teams had a very good night,” Coach Benny Lockhart said.
The seventh grade girls started the night with some great defense, and overpowered Hale center, 43-5.
The eightth grade girls continued with the defensive mindset and won, 35-12.
The junir high white team then took the floor and had a very impressive victory, 25-1.
The Nettes’ JV team hosted Plains on Tuesday and won a very tough defensive battle, 27-23.
The JV team hosted Ralls on Monday. Results were not available at press time.
The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team lost a tough defensive game to the Plains Cowgirls on Tuesday, falling, 36-34.
The Nettes were able to bounce back on Friday against Floydada, taking their contest over the Lady Winds, 52-26.
“The girls did a much better job scoring the basketball,” Head Coach Benny Lockhart said.
The Nettes hosted Ralls on Monday. Results were not available at press time.
They will host Sands next Saturday. Dec. 29th.
Tip-off is scheduled for 11 a.m.
The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team traveled to Floydada last Friday and played a very agressive game, but fell to the Whirlwinds, 72-38. “The boys faught hard but ran out of gas in the second half,” Head Coach Rocky Winn said.
The Hornets hosted Ralls on Monday, results were not available at press time.
The Hornets will be in the Wildcat Classic, which begins on Dec. 28th through Dec. 30th in Littlefield. The Hornets will open up with Littlefield at 5 p.m. on the 28th.
