Church service for Maria R. Ambriz, age 83, of Muleshoe, Texas, was scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe, with Father Rene Perez of Muleshoe officiating. Rosary was said at 7:00 PM, Friday, February 16, 2018, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was held in Muleshoe Memorial Park.
Mary died Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Lubbock. She was born September 26, 1934 in Bertram, Texas to Ambrosio and Elosia (Dominguez) Rojas. She married Jose Ambriz in Sudan, Texas on October 21, 1966.
Mary was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Club and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose in
2017; her parents; and a brother, Antonio Rojas.
Mary is survived by her three sons, Joe Ambriz and his wife, Kathy of Joshua, Texas, Gerardo Ambriz of Muleshoe, Texas and Rolando Ambriz and his wife, Carla of Muleshoe, Texas; her five sisters, Paula Reyna of Wichita Falls, Texas, Juanita Alfaro of Wichita Falls, Texas, Minnie Vega of Winter Garden, Florida, Susie Rodriguez of Muleshoe, Texas and Rosaline Chavez of Muleshoe, Texas; her three brothers, Joe Rojas of Springfield, Missouri, Ambrosio Rojas Jr. of Amarillo, Texas and Daniel Rojas of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
