The JV Mules competed in the Canyon Invitational Track Meet March 2 and March 3. No team standings were available at press time.

Brandon Ramirez opened the meet for the Mules with a nineteenth place finish in the 3200-meter run with a time of 12 minutes and 28.40 seconds. Nicolas Dominguez, Ryan Rodriguez, and Cesar Enriquez placed 14th, 18th, and 41st respectively in the 100-meter dash with times of 12.50, 12.71, and 13.56.

Jose Martinez, R. Rodriguez, and Dominguez placed 18th, 24th, and 29th respectively in the 200-meter dash with times of 26.16, 26.70, and 27.10. Martinez, Jacob Rodriguez, and Adrian Bustillos placed 24th, 37th, and 39th in the 400-meter dash respectively with times of 1:01.51, 1:07.36, and 1:09.28.

Ricardo Diaz finished sixth in the 800-meter run with a 2:18.44. He also finished tenth in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:15.40. The Mule 4×400-meter relay team placed fifth in the final race of the meet with a time of 3:49.59.

The Mules will compete next in the Shallowater Mustang Relays on Thursday.
