Church service for Roy Dean Lovelady, age 58, of Muleshoe, Texas, was scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, March 5, 2018 at Center Pointe Church in Muleshoe with Jeff Coffman of Muleshoe and Jamie Johnson of Muleshoe officiating. Burial was held in Muleshoe Memorial Park. The family received guests on Sunday at Ellis Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Roy died Friday, March 2, 2018 in Muleshoe. He was born February 9, 1960 in Vernon, Texas to Roy Willis and Dorothy Ann (Pittman) Lovelady. He married Deborah Whitley in Clovis, New Mexico on January 12, 1979.

Roy was the owner and operator of West Texas Heating and Air. He loved fishing and hunting. He was also an avid gun enthusiast. Roy was a member of the Center Pointe church in Muleshoe. He is preceded in death by his mother and his brother, Donald Ray Lovelady.

Roy is survived by his wife, Debbie; his son, Terrance Lovelady and his wife, Kristy of Portland, Texas; his daughter, Tisha Lovelady of Muleshoe, Texas; his father, Roy Lovelady of Farwell, Texas; his sister, Cathy Lovelady of Farwell, Texas; and his five grandchildren, Tryst Lovelady, Baylee Lovelady, Kylor Lovelady, Sean Underwood and Sabrina Hutton.
