The Muleshoe High School tennis team traveled to Levelland Thursday to play in the SPCHEA Tennis Tournament. There were no results available for Boys Singles Mules players, Luke Leal and Aron Chacon.

Izaiah Perez and Raul Sierra teamed up and lost to the two SPCHEA duos 1-6, 3-6, and 1-6, 2-6. Cassidy Cage claimed the first medal for Muleshoe in Girls Singles. She defeated Southcrest 6-1, 6-4. She lost to Cotton Center 4-6, 2-6 but bounced back to defeat Idalou 3-6, 6-2, and 10-5 for the bronze medal.

Sofia Sianez and Anghy Avilez teamed up in Girls Doubles. The team lost to SPCHEA 0-6, 5-7 but bounced back for the bronze medal by defeating Sundown 6-4, 6-2. Yvonne Diaz and Anna Phillips lost to Southcrest 4-6, 2-6. Y. Diaz then teamed up with Natalie Diaz to finish the match. They defeated Sundown 4-6, 6-2, and 10-2 for the bronze medal.

The Mixed Doubles team of Jacob Kettner and Lili Barrera earned the bronze medal. They defeated Morton 7-5, 7-5 and SPCHEA 4-6, 6-2, and 10-8 in a tiebreaker. They lost to Plainview Christian Academy 8-4 in their final match.

Corbin Hardwick and Hallie Myatt lost to Plainview Christian Academy, defeated Sundown, and lost to Morton. No scores were available for this team.

The team is on Spring Break will return to action following the school break.
