Muleshoe — March 22, 2018—Bailey County Electric Cooperative (BCEC) announced plans to award at least four (4) scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each this spring. The deadline to submit applications is April 13, 2018. Completed application packets must be delivered to the BCEC Muleshoe office located at 610 E. American Blvd. These scholarships are being made available through BCEC and First Bank.

Applicants must currently be a high school senior who will graduate in the Spring of 2018 or have received their GED. Students who are eligible to apply must live in the BCEC service territory, have received their electric service from BCEC for at least one (1) year and will be attending an accredited College, University, Junior/Community College, Trade/Technical School, or Business School in the Fall of 2018.

Applications are available from the high school counselor’s offices. Full rules of the scholarship program are provided with application forms. Information and forms can also be downloaded from the BCEC website at www.bcecoop.com located under the “Community” tab.
