James Carroll Howell, Sr. passed away on March 13, 2018, in Arlington, Texas. James was born in Cottle County Texas to Velma and Daily Howell on October 17, 1939. He attended school in Muleshoe, Texas. He left school at seventeen and joined the U. S. Navy. When he returned, he met and married late wife Imelda Martin. They had four children – Jim, Jr., Robert, Kathy, and Kelly, all who survive him. He had 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. James is also survived by his wife , Cherry; his sisters, Latoyia Howell Sawyer, Shirley Holland Adams, and one brother, Dewayne Holland. His sister Peggy Howell White predeceased him.

Memorial services will be held on April 7, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2101 E. Mayfield Rd, Arlington, TX.
