UIL Coordinator April Smith wishes to thank students, faculty and administrators for being excellent hosts to the District 2-3A students at the regional meet on Wednesday and Thursday, March 21 and 22.

“Thank you all so much for everything you did yesterday and the days before to make sure Muleshoe High and Muleshoe ISD were excellent hosts to the District 2-3A students, faculty and administrators that visited us yesterday. You were all awesome!  You all received numerous compliments. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.

“Though we did not come out on top, we all represented our school district well. I am happy to announce that we have 12 MHS students competing in 13 events who will be advancing to the Regional UIL Academic Meet in Abilene on Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14. We are very proud of these young men and women and wish them much luck.”
