The Lady Mules placed fifth at the District 2-3 A Track Meet held on the Tulia Hornet Track April 3 and 4 with 78.5 points. Shallowater won the meet with 116.5 points, Slaton placed second with 110 points, and Friona was third with 109 points. Idalou was fourth with 108 points, Littlefield placed sixth with 45, Dimmitt was seventh with 29 and Roosevelt finished eighth with 24 points.

The top four places in each event qualified to advance to the Area Track Meet that will be run April 17 at Tulia.

Liliana Martinez placed fourth in the first race of the meet. She ran a time of 13 minutes and 08.17 seconds in the 3200-meter run. Keely Dunham earned the silver medal in the discus with a throw of 114 feet nine inches.

Kyndal Miller tied for third place in the high jump by clearing 4-10. Anahi Barrera won the bronze medal in the long jump with a leap of 16-08.75. Grace Leal tied for place sixth in the pole vault by clearing 7-00.

The Lady Mule, 4×100 meter relay team, comprised of Miller, Barrera, Reina Regalado, and Emily Mora earned the bronze medal with a time of 51.32. Kayla Torres finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.13. Dellany Martinez placed sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.63.

The 4×200 meter relay team of Natali Elizalde, Barrera, Regalado, and Miller took the bronze medal with a time of 1:50.34. D. Martinez earned the silver medal in the 300-meter hurdles with a 51.76.

L. Martinez took fourth in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:00.75. The 4×400-meter relay team of Barrera, Regalado, Elizalde, and Miller won the silver medal with a time of 4:15.43.
