Music will play and paint will fly when PaintJam artist Rock Demarco of Dan Dunn’s PaintJam performs at the Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture 2018 Banquet on Saturday, May 5, at the Muleshoe High School Commons Area and Auditorium.

Featured on Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, NatGeo and Super Bowl XLIV, PaintJam consists of a performer speed-painting to music.

“He’ll be creating three different pieces, all of them a surprise to the crowd,” said Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce Manager Kaci Morris. “It’s pretty entertaining, something a little different to come to Muleshoe.”

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $50 and can be pre-purchased from Morris or any Chamber board member. Tables are also available for purchase. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The Chamber will once again present awards to the Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Ag Family of the Year, Business of the Year, and, for the second time, Youth of the Year, selected from school-age nominees.

Catering will be by Granddaddy’s Authentic BBQ, and Annie and Martha’s Artisan Bakery of Farwell will bring some dessert treats to choose from.

“I’m really excited; it’s going to be a fun night for everyone, an evening we normally don’t get to experience in Muleshoe,” Morris said.

For more information, call the Chamber of Commerce at 806-272-4248.
