Some of the works painted on-site by speed painter Rock Demarco went for thousands during a live auction at the Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet.

One of these paintings was purchased by Nick and Rayniel Bamert, who then generously donated it to Muleshoe schools at the regular meeting of the Muleshoe Board of Trustees on May 14.

The work depicts a Muleshoe athlete gripping a football helmet.

Muleshoe ISD thanks Bamert Seed for their continued support of Muleshoe students.

“It’s great to live in a community where everyone works together to make great things happen for kids,” Superintendent Dr. R.L. Richards said.
