Bailey County Commissioners Court met in regular session in the Bailey County Courthouse on Monday, April 20. Attending were County Judge Sherri Harrison, Precinct 1 Commissioner Gary Don Gartin, Precinct 2 Commissioner Mike Slayden, Precinct 3 Commissioner Cody Black and County Clerk Robin Dickerson, ex-officio clerk of Commissioners Court.

Precinct 4 Commissioner Juan Chavez was absent.

All motions carried unanimously.

Minutes of the previous meetings on April 9 were approved.

County bills were approved and payment ordered.

Departmental reports were reviewed. No soil conservation sheets were submitted for approval.

Black moved and Gartin seconded a motion to authorize the removal of Elaine Parker from the signature card at the bank and authorize Yesenia Chacon to be added.

Slayden moved and Black seconded a motion to authorize County Judge Sherri Harrison to sign Memorandum of Understanding between the Office of Attorney General and Bailey County.

Harrison moved and Gartin seconded a motion to approve entering into a contract with Chad Beall Construction for renovations of the new EMS building on American Boulevard. Total bid is $71,613.20. Funding for the renovations: $34,000 from the Tobacco Settlement and $37,613.20 from Permanent Improvement Fund (Fund 25).
