Bailey County Commissioners Court met in regular session on Monday, June 11. Present were County Judge Sherri Harrison, Precinct 1 Commissioner Don Gartin, Precinct 2 Commissioner Mike Slayden, Precinct 3 Commissioner Cody Black and Precinct 4 Commissioner Juan Chavez. County Clerk Robin Dickerson, ex officio clerk of Commissioners Court, was absent.
All motions carried unanimously.
Minutes of the May 29 meeting were approved.
County bills were approved and payment order.
Black moved and Slayden seconded a motion to go out for bids on Phase II of EMS building. Bids are due in County Judge’s office by 1 p.m. Friday, July 20, and will be opened on Monday, July 23.
Black moved and Chavez seconded a motion to accept letter of resignation from Daniel Guzman, Justice of the Peace, effective Friday, July 6.
Black moved and Gartin seconded a motion to lower the speed limit on CR 1326 to 45 mph.
