We want to thank SPAG for coming and hosting a great Health Fair! It was very good and well attended. This is always a good experience for our Seniors!
They must have brought the rain as we have received some really good rains since they were here! We are always happy about Rain!!

Obituary: Nora Gonzales Avena

Nora Gonzales Avena of Muleshoe died Monday, July 16, 2018 at home. She was 59. She was born Aug. 25, 1958, in Muleshoe. Services will be held the 10th of August at 10 a.m. at the Catholic Church in Muleshoe, Texas.

Obituary: Linda White

Church service for Linda White, age 69, of Farwell, Texas, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Lariat Church of Christ with Waymon Dowdy of Clovis, New Mexico officiating. Burial will be in Oklahoma Lane Cemetery.

School supply donation requests cause anger, bitterness

I once knew a woman who became very upset at being asked to contribute back-to-school supplies to children who might otherwise have had to do without them.
“I bought all my kids’ school supplies,” she fumed. “Why should I have to donate school supplies to people who are too lazy to go out and make a living and buy their kids’ school supplies?”
