Commissioners vote to adjust tax rates

Bailey County Commissioners Court met in regular session in the Bailey County Courthouse on Monday, Aug. 13. Attending were County Judge Sherri Harrison, Precinct 1 Commissioner Gary Don Gartin, Precinct 2 Commissioner Mike Slayden, Precinct 3 Commissioner Cody Black, Precinct 4 Commissioner Juan Chavez and County Clerk Robin Dickerson, ex-officio clerk of Commissioners Court.
All motions carried unanimously.

Muleshoe Road Riders help schools rev up for school year

Muleshoe Road Riders, a non-profit motorcycle club, recently donated school supplies to DeShazo and Dillman elementary schools.
The club holds various fundraisers throughout the year and determines what charity, individual or organization is in need of funds. Their major fundraiser, a motorcycle rally, occurs in late March or early April.
