Meet the Mules

Muleshoe Annual Meet the Mules was hosted Tuesday August 21, 2018, in the Muleshoe High School Gymnasium.
Mini mule cheerleaders performed the cheers that were taught by the High School Cheerleaders. We also had the band and Color guard do a performance as they have learned their new music for their halftime show. Student Athletic Trainers and the Muleshoe Cross Country team introduced themselves, as our football athletes announced who they were and positions that they play.

The Muleshoe Ladies Golf Association

By Alice Liles

Alice’s note: This story first appeared in my blog on August 19. I found some interesting old pictures of the golf course while researching this story and also saw what it takes to put on a successful women’s tournament this past weekend.

Way back in 1954 when the Muleshoe Golf Course was coming to be, women weren’t exactly welcomed at golf courses and country clubs anywhere (Think Augusta National, Augusta, Georgia, then, and even as recently as 2012, right?),
