Muleshoe and Farwell — AimBank announces Jay Messenger as the new Regional Market President of Muleshoe and Farwell, and Greg Byers as the Muleshoe Market President.
“I would like to announce two important promotions in our Muleshoe and Farwell markets,” remarked Scott Wade, CEO of AimBank. “Jay Messenger is being promoted to oversee the Muleshoe and Farwell Region.  He has been a part of the Muleshoe community for almost 30 years and is very knowledgeable in the area’s banking trends. We would also like to announce the promotion of Greg Byers as the Muleshoe Market President. Greg more recently joined our AimBank team, but brings with him many years of banking experience and an extensive agricultural background. We are pleased to have such a wealth of knowledge in our Muleshoe team and both gentlemen are well deserving of these promotions.”

Jay Messenger, a Certified Public Accountant, joined AimBank in 2017 when Muleshoe State Bank became part of the AimBank family. Prior to that, he had been with Muleshoe State Bank since 1989 and served as the President for five years. Jay is a graduate of West Texas State University with a degree in Accounting. He is a long standing citizen of Muleshoe serving the community with leadership roles at FUMC Muleshoe, Past Chairman of the South Plains Regional Workforce Development Board, Past President of Muleshoe Rotary, and Past President of the Muleshoe Industrial Foundation.
Greg Byers joined AimBank a year ago and has been an essential part of our AimBank team. He is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a Master’s Degree in Agriculture. Greg has worked in banking for 21 years and has enjoyed life in the Muleshoe area. He and his wife are active members of First Baptist Church as teachers of the young Adult Sunday School Class. Greg looks forward to working the with 4-H and FFA youth in the area. “I am excited about this next opportunity with AimBank,” remarked Greg Byers, Muleshoe Market President. “Our bank has a strong history in this area and a dedication to the Agricultural community.”
