The Watson Junior High Mules brought several medals back from the Tacos Rebel Run cross country meet at Amarillo John Stiff Park last weekend.
The JH Mules and Lady Mules took 10 runners.
The Junior High Lady Mules had six runners participate in a 2-mile run; seventh grader Idaly Tarrango with a finish time of 16:47, eighth grader Zabry Hasseloff; 17:30, eighth grader Alejandra Medina; 17:35, eighth grader Mikayla Hasseloff; 18:14, seventh grader America Pantoja; 18:16 and seventh grader Yvette Benavidez with a finish time of 18:23.
The Junior High Mules had four runners that participated in a 2-mile run with three of them finishing in the top 20 each receiving a medal; eighth grader Jeremiah Estraca came in 4th with a time of 14:05, eighth grader Eliasar Cisneros came in 9th with a time of 14:37, seventh grader Donovan Gonzales came in 12th with a time of 14:48 and eighth grader Jesse Torres coming in with a time of 15:48.
The Junior High Muleshoe Cross Country team will have a week off before traveling to Canyon to run at the Canyon High School on Sept. 29.
