The Muleshoe High School Varsity Cross Country team travelled to Amarillo, Texas to participate in the Tacosa Rebel Run at the Amarillo John Stiff Park on Saturday September 15, 2018.
The Varity Lady Mules had three runners that participated in a 2 mile run; Senior Lilly Martinez finished with a time of 15:10 for an overall 10th place medal. Sophomore Heather Chavez finished with a time of 16:15, and Freshman Araceli Hernandez came in with a time of 16:45.
The Varsity Mules had two runners that participated in a 5k; Senior Ethan Gonzales finished with the time of 19:30 and Junior Ricardo Diaz came in right behind with a time of 19:33. The Varsity teams will travel to Lubbock on Saturday to participate and run at Mae Simmons Park.
