Bailey County Commissioners Court met in regular session in the Bailey County Courthouse on Monday, Sept. 10. Attending were County Judge Sherri Harrison, Precinct 1 Commissioner Gary Don Gartin, Precinct 2 Commissioner Mike Slayden, Precinct 3 Commissioner Cody Black, and County Clerk Robin Dickerson, ex-officio clerk of Commissioners Court.
Precinct 4 Commissioner Juan Chavez was absent.
All motions carried unanimously.
Minutes for the previous meeting on Aug. 27 were approved.
County bills were reviewed and approved. Payment was ordered.
County Treasurer’s Report for July 2018 was approved.
Slayden moved and Black seconded a motion to approve soil conservation worksheets in accordance with §201.151 of the Agriculture Code.
AZTECA Milling Co. $312
There were no grant funds for County Treasurer to certify to the court. The court received Daily Equipment Inspection reports from the precincts for the month of August.
Gartin moved and Slayden seconded a motion to remove Bailey County Jail Administrator Joey Chavez from Bailey County Inmate Trust Account and Bailey County Inmate Commissary Account and authorize Account Information and Check Writing privileges to current Bailey County Jail Administrator/Bailey County Deputy Mary Lopez.
Gartin moved and Slayden seconded a motion to approve Water Line Easement requested by Mike Laurence.
Slayden moved and Gartin seconded a motion to County Judge Sherri Harrison to sign Revised Interlocal Agreement with MISD for Bailey County EMS Services provided at home football games.
Slayden moved and Gartin seconded a motion to designate the second and fourth Monday of the month for regular
commissioners court meetings to be held in FY 2019.
Public hearing on fiscal year 2019 budget of bailey county
Black moved and Gartin seconded a motion to adopt County Budget for Fiscal Year 2019 and take a record vote.

Gartin moved and Slayden seconded a motion to set General Fund, Farm to Market and Debt Service Tax Rates for 2018, take a record vote on the Tax Rate and pass order Adopting Tax Rate for the year 2018/2019 is computed as follows:
