Lillian O. Hamilton passed from this life on Sept. 19, 2018. Family and friends will gather from 6 to 8 pm Friday, September 21, 2018 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, 6025 82 St, Lubbock, TX for visitation and again to celebrate her life of 99 years on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:30 pm at First Baptist Church, Earth, TX. A tribute of Lillian’s life may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family.Lillian was born on March 11, 1919 to Wiley and Nellie Nelson. She lived in the Springlake Earth area most of her life. After graduating from Springlake High School in 1937, she married Price Hamilton and spent the next 40 years living on their farm. After her husband’s passing in 1974, she moved into the town of Earth. She enjoyed extensive travels, quilting,
photography, researching family history and making dozens of scrapbooks. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Earth, and a devoted Christian.
Lillian is survived by two daughters, Charlene Riley and Norma Kincer, both of Lubbock; nine grandchildren, Shaunie Salyer and husband, Steve of Canyon Lake, TX; Shori Wilson and husband, David of Houston, TX; Jeff Hamilton and wife, Deena of Lubbock, TX; Jill Winders and husband, Kerry of Plainview, TX; Jimmy White of Selma, TX, Darron White and wife, Stacy of Lubbock; Craig White of Colorado City, TX, Kim Boone and husband, Derek of Mannford, OK; and Bart Green and wife, Bridget of Tulsa, OK; 14 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Kenny Hamilton; daughter, Loy Green; daughter-in-law, Sharon Hamilton; and three sons-in-law, Robert Riley, Jimmy Baldwin and Denny Kincer.
