The Watson Junior High 7th grade football team traveled to Idalou Texas this past Thursday night; Mules record is now 1-3.
Starting quarterback #7 Sebastian Kirven on the sideline due to an injury, backup quarterback #20 Donovan Bara would take the snaps. The contest quickly turned into a one-sided contest with Idalou scoring on their first four possessions of the game, the offense for the Mules were not able to answer the Wildcat defense at all. Despite all the efforts of the Mules defense, they were only able to keep the Wildcats out of the end zone once. The Wildcats dominated both sides of the ball not allowing the Mules to score at all on the night. The Wildcats finding themselves in the end zone a total of five times and being good on four of the five two point conversions leaving the score with the Wildcats 38, Mules 0.
The Mules will face the Dimmit Bobcats next Thursday night October 4, 2018 here in Muleshoe territory.
