Muleshoe High School sends its Varsity Cross Country teams to compete at the Canyon High School Cross Country meet. The Varsity Lady Mules had one runner finish in the top twenty, Senior Lili Martinez finishing with a time of 12:42 placing 20th. KyLee Villa completed her run with a time of 13:12 followed by Sophomore Heather Chavez; 13:16, Junior Valeria Carreaga; 14:27, and Sophomore Kristina Arzola; 15:13.
The Varsity Mules had two runners finish in the top twenty; Junior Ricky Diaz finished with a time of 17:23 placing him in 15th place, the only one to receive a medal and Senior Ethan Gonzales finished right behind in 16th place with a time of 20:02, Junior Julian Elizade finished his run with at time of 24:35.
The Mules will run at Amarillo Thompson Park on Monday October 8, 2018 to participate in the District 1-3A meet.
