A lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court last week alleges a McDonald’s general manager and another male employee subjected four female employees to physical and verbal sexual harassment.
The lawsuit also alleges management for Credle Enterprises, LLC, the company doing business as McDonald’s, knew but did nothing.
According to the lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against Credle Enterprises, LLC d/b/a McDonald’s, the male employees physically touched the female workers, the manager made sexual jokes and there were displays of pornographic images.
Credle Enterprises, LLC operates three McDonald’s locations in northwest Texas — Muleshoe, Hereford and Littlefield.
According to a news release from EEOC regarding the lawsuit, EEOC first tried to reach a pre-litigation settlement in the case.
