Clyde Irvin McMahan

ABILENE – CLYDE IRVIN MCMAHAN, 78, died Saturday, October 13, 2018, at his home in Abilene. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018, at Northwest Church of Christ in Abilene. Burial will be in Hawley Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home of Anson.Born November 14, 1939 in Muleshoe, Clyde was a son of the late William Corneliul “Bud” and Dora Buel (Threet) McMahan. He graduated from Muleshoe High School and moved to Abilene in 1980. Clyde married Joanie Evans February 16, 2001 in Abilene. She preceded him in death December 15, 2003. Clyde was self-employed in the landscaping business. He was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ. Clyde enjoyed working on clocks and making honey that he loved to share with his family and friends.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers (Clarance and Paul), three sisters (Lucille, Dorothy Jean and Evelyn) and three other infant siblings.
Survivors include one sister, Ruby Ward of Muleshoe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018, at the Northwest Church of Christ, 1141 N. Willis in Abilene.
