Zeta Rho and Xi Omicron Xi chapters of Beta Sigma Phi met Tuesday, October 23rd, at the Bailey County Electric meeting room to enjoy the evening together for their traditional Octoberfest meeting. Members enjoyed honey ham, loaded mash potatoes, Arkansas green beans, squash and zucchini casserole, fiesta salad, and hot rolls with pumpkin cheese cake, pumpkin cake, and mixed berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream provided by members Val McCamish, Brenna Birch, Sandi Chitwood, Sheila Stevenson, and Cindy Barrett.
Guest Jill Sisk, the new Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce manager, gave a program on goals and activities of the chamber and also discussed the upcoming Christmas Make and Take Art Class and the Bright Lights of Muleshoe rescheduled book signing to be held November 10th at the Muleshoe Training Facility. Members then divided into three teams and enjoyed a lively game of Scattergories. First place went to Pat Young, Donna Glover, Melba King, and Judy Davenport; second place was won by Cindy Purdy, Cindy Barrett, Val McCamish, Brenna Birch; Sheila Stevenson, Vicki Black, Sandi Chitwood, and Linda Wood came in third.
