The Muleshoe Country Club Ladies Association meeting was held October 17, 2018. President Jana St. Clair called the meeting to order with 17 members present and one guest; Rhonda Pummill. A meal of lasagna, garden salad, garlic bread, carrot cake and Italian cream cake was prepared by Jerie Flowers, Sandi Chitwood and Helen Templeton. Birthdays recognized for October; Treena Matthews and Kim Hunt, November; Tammy Black and December; Janet Claborn. Treena Matthews High Plains Chairman reported three ladies attended High Plains at Dimmitt Country Club; Tammy Black, Christie Whitt and Linda Erdmann. There was one winner, Tammy Black, 2nd Flight-low gross with a score of 77. The yearly High Plains winner for our club was Tammy Black winning June, July and October. Jerie Flowers gave the winning scores for Shanghai; October 3rd, Treena Matthews 2nd game last down 3rd hand. October 10th; Judy Wilbanks, 1st game 1st down 3rd hand. Pat Hands; Helen Templeton 17 and Treena Matthews 10. The weather was too cold for golf so a fun day of cards was played. Winner playing Shanghai was Janet Claborn, and Donna Glover. Winners playing 9 hole golf and up and down the river were Jeanetta Precure, Linda Erdmann and Kay Field. A committee was appointed to find a memorial for Analita Haley, they are; Treena Matthews, Jeanetta Precure, Helen Templeton and Kay Field. The Christmas party for the ladies association will be held December 5th. Winning the drawing was Anita Black. Our next meeting will be held January 16th 2019.
