The Muleshoe High School Varsity football team competed in their final game of the season in Bushland, Texas this past Friday night. Unfortunately the contest was all Bushland. The Mules were unable to find the end zone against the Falcons even with great effort. It is sad to see the 2018 season end with a 1-9 record for the Mules, but we as fans witnessed a lot of bright spots. Muleshoe football looks to have a great future behind the coaching leadership of Coach Lee Walker and his coaching staff, with returning players and players from the sub varsity level the Mules will look to better their reputation and see 2018 as a learning season.
Senior quarterback #7 Luke Del Toro finished the night with 8/26 passing for 87 yards. Del Toro rushes 16 attempts for 25 yards. Senior wide receiver #11 Yoel Reyes ended his night with two receptions for 26 yards.
