Lady Mules fall to Spearman

The Muleshoe High School varsity girls basketball team played the Spearman Lynx here at home on Friday.
“The game felt much like a roller coaster ride with many highs and lows” said Head Coach Kim Chaffin. “After starting the game off very well, we seemed to run into a few walls, scoring-wise, on a few occasions.”

Mules take tough loss against Spearman

The Muleshoe High School varsity boys basketball team lost by 44 points in an at-home matchup to Spearman on Friday.
The Mules are now at a 9-15 record for the season with only five scheduled games remaining.
The Mules got out to a rocky start with their first six possessions becoming turnovers. The Spearman Lynx started on an eight-point run before any Mule would score.

Mules JV lose to Spearman in overtime

The Muleshoe High School Junior Varsity Boys basketball team fell a little short in an overtime, nail-biting game against the Spearman Lynx. The two teams faced off here at home on Friday.
“Spearman is a really good team and we showed spurts of being able to compete with them,” said Head JV Coach Jalen Garza “I think that gave our guys some confidence to be able to play a good team like that to overtime.”
