Five candidates have signed up for a place on the ballot in the Muleshoe City Election, according to City Secretary Zanea Carpenter. They are as follows:

City General Election
Lupe Mendoza (incumbent), District 2
Juan Chavez, District 1
Colt Ellis (Incumbent), District 1
Muleshoe ISD
Ashley Turnbow (incumbent), at-large position
Muleshoe Area Hospital District
Allen Smyer (incumbent), District 2
Those who wish to run for office may pick up a candidate packet from the City Secretary’s office at City Hall.
Last day to sign up is Friday, February 15.
The last day that an individual may register to vote in the General Election is Thursday, April 4.
