The following candidates have filed for a place on the City General Election ballot, according to City Secretary Zanea Carpenter. The filing deadline was Feb. 15. The last day that an individual may register to vote in the General Election is Thursday, April 4.

MISD Special Election
MISD will hold a special election to fill the unexpired term for District 5 previously held by Carroll Precure. The special election deadline to file is 5 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2019. Those who wish to run for office may pick up a candidate packet from the city secretary’s office at City Hall.
