Seeing double: Sudan 6th grade has multiple multiples

By Addisyn Harrell and Derek Lopez

The sixth-grade class has multiple multiples. There are three sets of twins and one set of triplets.
“I think that is the most sets of multiples our school has ever had,” said Addisyn Harrell, one of the multiples.

I Thoroughly Enjoyed the CTE Power Lunch

By Alice Liles

Alice’s note: This story first appeared in my blog The Bright Lights of Muleshoe on March 10, 2019. I had the pleasure of visiting with Muleshoe High School students and teachers at their CTE Power Lunch last week. Career and Technology Education is a relatively new program in the state of Texas, and I was glad for the opportunity to learn more about it. I also enjoyed seeing some of my former students as adults in a variety of leadership roles. They do grow up before you know it!

Art Association takes road trip to Amarillo

The Muleshoe Art Association took a road trip to Amarillo for their March meeting. Ten members met on the morning of March 5th and drove to Amarillo to visit the Kenneth Wyatt Art Studio and the Amarillo Museum of Art.
Members enjoyed viewing new work by Kenneth Wyatt and made some purchases as well. This one is typical of the Western motif seen in many of Wyatt’s paintings. The group then enjoyed lunch at the Blue Sky restaurant.
