Muleshoe Ladies Country Association met Wednesday the 20th. President Pat Kirk called the meeting to order with a prayer of gratitude led by Janet Claborn. We were glad to have Kim England as our special guest.
Jana St. Clair, Donna Glover, and Sherri Shipman hosted the March Luncheon. We dined on loaded Baked Potatoes, Chicken Salad with Fruit Salad. For dessert we were served decadent Key Lime Pie and Brownies. Treena Matthews, Pat, Jana, and Tammy Black decorated the dining won with the St. Patrick Theme of green Leprechaun Hats and lucky Four Leaf Clovers. Hostesses for April will be Treena and Pat.
Reports given. Playday Card Chairman Helen Templeton awarded Golf Card winners were Christie Whitt and Helen Templeton for February the 20th. February the 27th winners were Pat, Sherri, Helen and Jeanetta Precure.
Shanghi winners on March the 6th were Tammy. Linda Erdmann won on March the 13th. On March the 20th the winning Scramble Team was Kay Field, Jeanetta, Jana, and Deborah Noble. Shanghi winners were June Hunt and Janet.
Sandi Chitwood drew Treena Matthews’s name as our door prize winner.
High Plains Chairperson, Treena announced that the High Plains Tournament will be played in Muleshoe on July the 10th.
The upcoming projects that were discussed was painting the swimming area, a fountain for the #9 hole, and making floral decorations for the Jennyslipper Tournament.
We had 17 members present; Jana, Brenna Shipman, Sherri, Jeanetta, Marlene Martin, Sandi, Janet, Helen, Treena, Deborah, June Hunt, Kay, Linda, Tammy, Pat, Christie, and Donna. We had one guest Kim England.
