Muleshoe students and their coaches are to be congratulated for their hard work and success at the District 1-3A UIL Academic Meet, according to UIL director April Smith.
Eleven students in 12 events placed in the top three in their events to earn the right to advance to the Regional UIL Academic Meet, April 12 and 13 at Abilene Christian University in Abilene. Several students also placed 4-6 earning points for MHS, which contributed to the Runner-Up spot.
The Speech Team is the District Speech Team Champion.
“We are very proud of all these students!” said Dr. R.L. Richards, Muleshoe superintendent.
