AMARILLO — BSA Health System will be offering free health screenings at the BSA Care Fair on Saturday, September 21 from 7-10 a.m. The fair will be in the BSA auditorium, located on the second floor of BSA.
The fair will include a free blood pressure measurement and blood draw to test triglycerides, cholesterol and glucose levels. For accurate results, all participants are encouraged to fast for at least eight hours prior to having their blood drawn.
BSA will be providing hands-only CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) demonstrations, retina screenings, waist measurements, educational booths and giveaways. Each participant will receive a free breakfast burrito, coffee and orange juice.
Medical health professionals will be available with education to improve your overall health and reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
