The First United Methodist Church will host Wesley Putnam Sunday, October 13th through Wednesday, October 16th at 7:00 pm nightly.
Wesley Putnam is a United Methodist minister, a full- time evangelist, a musician, a dramatist, and a storyteller. He is a man whose ministry crosses denominational lines.
Most of all, he’s a believer who wants to glorify God and build up the Kingdom. Storytellers have charmed audiences long before the time of Christ. Even Jesus used stories to help people understand the heart of God. Wes has thrilled tens of thousands by his special drama re-enactments of timeless Bible tales.
Wes brings the Word alive with his anointed preaching. His messages overflow with warmth and humor, but they’re not candy-coated. His relevant approach connects the struggles that all people share. You will hear a message of hope.
When Wesley sings, he glorifies the God who can heal relationships, mend broken hearts, and melt icy souls. Wesley has a knack of reaching all age groups with his music.
That’s because it springs from the Word, which meets the deep yearning in our human hearts.
Come share the love of Christ with your community one night or all four nights and bring a friend.
