Leandra perished in her sleep October 2, 2019, in Muleshoe Texas. She was born in Monte Rey N.D. Mexico to Donicio and Trinidad Garcia. Leandra married Samuel Koite her husband of 68 years. Leandra was a God-fearing woman; she taught her children to be honest and hardworking. She was kind and generous and loved her children and grandchildren.
Leandra is survived by her husband Samuel Koite of Muleshoe, two daughters Martha Koite Acevado, and her husband Lupe Acevado of Muleshoe, Texas. Maria Koite Sander and her husband Tracy Sander of Bryan Texas. Three sons Joe, Koite and his wife Mary Jane of Bryan Texas. Roy Koite and is wife Adel of Bryan Texas, Mike Koite and wife Elma Koite of Houston Texas. Thirteen grandchildren Gabriel Acevado, Joel Acevado, Joshua De Leon, Tim De Leon, Seth De Leon, Kayleen Carpio, Matthew Koite, Micah Koite, Kayleen Landry, Emy Cruz, Isreal Koite, Terry Koite, Brooklyn Saenz, twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
