Ken Geeslin was sworn in as a police officer at the Muleshoe City Council meeting Monday evening.
Geeslin, who recently graduated from the Police Academy of the South Plains Association of Governments, is a retired Air Force veteran of 21 years. He worked for the Lubbock County Sheriff’s office in the Lubbock County Detention Center for three years.
“It’s been a work in progress for the last year or so,” “McHone said, “but we’re finally able to say that all officer positions are now filled.”
Jorge Martinez, Muleshoe, was also recently hired as full-time animal control officer.
