Xi Omicron Xi and Zeta Rho chapters of Beta Sigma Phi sorority held their annual Octoberfest Tuesday, October 22nd, at the Bailey County Electric meeting room. Members enjoyed dinner provided by co-hostesses Brenna Burch, Val McCamish, Vicki Black, Sheila Stevenson, and Candace Weaver. The dinner included green salad, baked ham, green beans, cauliflower and broccoli casserole, potato casserole, hot rolls, and tea. Dessert was pecan bars and warm caramel apple dump cake with vanilla ice cream.
After the meal, members were divided into teams to play Texas Trivia, which turned out to be quite challenging since the game dated back to 1984! Cindy Barrett and Val McCamish won the game and the prize of chocolate candy. Sweet cooking pumpkins were drawn for as door prizes and won by Judy Davenport, Vicki Black, Cindy Purdy, Cindy Barrett, and Pat Young.
