Ramon Sanchez will be the next city manager of Muleshoe. The Muleshoe City Council announced his hire Tuesday morning. Sanchez has been a city employee since September of 1988. He has served as public works director since September of 1997. The Muleshoe native graduated from Muleshoe High School in 1983 and went on to become a Certified Public Manager through Texas State University. He and his wife, Noemi, have two sons, Xavier and his wife, Stephanie, and Cristian. They also have one grandson named Paul. Sanchez will replace current city manager LeAnn Gallman, who announced her retirement in December. Sanchez will officially assume the role on that same day.
