The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team rolled past Bovina on Tuesday, 73-34, in their second meeting of district play.
With the win, the Nettes improve to 21-7 overall, 3-2 in district play.
Sudan jumped out to a, 14-9, lead in the first quarter and poured in 22 points in the second quarter, while holding the Fillies to just four points in the quarter to make the score, 36-13, going into the locker room at halftime.
The Nettes tallied 16 points in the third quarter and 21 points in the fourth quarter to take the contest, 73-34.
Freshman, Gracyn Shultz, led the team posting a triple-double with 17 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and one block, while freshman, Stevi Lockhart, joined her in double-figures scoring with 18 points, to go along with eight rebounds, six blocks and one assist.
Freshman, Braelyn Pointer, tallied 14 points, five rebounds and one assist, while junior, Zoey Cantu, chipped in nine points, two rebounds and one assist and sophomore, Liz Sital, contributed eight points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Senior, Payton Tolbert tallied six rebounds, five points, one assist and one steal, while senior, Callen Netherland, added three points, three rebounds and one steal and sophomore, Heidi Pinon finished with four steals, three rebounds, one point and one assist.
