Chamber looks forward to new, expanded events in 2020
The Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture recently held its Annual Breakfast.
Turnbow said the year 2019 had been quite the challenge with transitions and changes. The Chamber faced turnovers in managers and the challenge of getting a new website up and running.
The website will occur in two phases, the regular site and another one for merchandising. The regular website is up and rolling, but the merchandise site needs more time to complete.
Turnbow introduced new Chamber Manager Andrea Alfaro, saying that she has been the new manager for about four months, and that she brings energy and passion to the community of Muleshoe.
Alfaro introduced Chamber Board of Directors members including Chamber Secretary Carina Reyes, Chamber President Trevor Turnbow and Chamber Vice President Dusty Stone.
Alfaro mentioned that the week of May 3 is Shop Small Business Week, an opportunity to highlight the city’s great small businesses.
The July 4 celebration is being planned with a few new events in the works.
The Chamber will bring back Shop Small Business Saturday this year, as well as the Shop the Shoe Campaign during Christmas break.
Christmas Open House will take place, allowing businesses and community members to showcase their
