Staff Reports
Guidelines from the Center for Disease Control can help those that are concerned about potentially contracting the COVID-19 (coronavirus).
Some of the symptoms of the virus include having a fever, dry cough and shortness of breath. Anyone experiencing those symptoms are encouraged to contact their physician by phone, who will help determine if medical attention is needed.
If you are sick with the virus, or suspect you may have the virus, the CDC recommends several steps to limit the spread of the virus.
These steps include:
Stay home except to get medical care
Separate yourself from other people and animals in your home
Call ahead before visiting your doctor
Wear a facemask
Cover your coughs and sneezes
Avoid sharing personal household items
Clean your hands often
Clean all “high-tough” surfaces every day
Monitor your symptoms
Discontinuing home isolation, which should be determined on a case-by-case basis in consultation with healthcare providers along with state and local health departments.
